Our driver was so patient with the kids, every hotel had a pool, and the Yala safari was the highlight of our year. The children haven't stopped talking about the elephants.
Two kids under 8 and we never once felt stressed. Short drives, family-friendly hotels, and our driver always had snacks and water in the car. Better than any resort holiday.
Three kids, 14 days, zero problems. The itinerary was perfectly paced — active days followed by pool days. Sigiriya was incredible for the older two, and even our 4-year-old loved the train ride.
Our driver remembered the kids' names, knew where to stop for bathrooms, and even found a playground near Kandy. The turtle hatchery in Bentota was a surprise highlight.
Our family packages start from $1,199 per family (2 adults + up to 2 kids) for 7 nights, including family-friendly hotels, a private driver with child seats, kid-approved activities, and all transfers.

December to March is peak season — perfect for south and west coast beach holidays. This aligns well with Christmas, half-term, and Easter breaks. We can plan around any school holiday calendar.
We recommend 6–8 weeks for peak season (December–March). For shoulder seasons, 2–4 weeks is usually enough.
Sri Lankan restaurants are very accommodating with children. Rice, noodles, roti, fresh fruit, and egg hoppers are kid-friendly staples. Most places will make mild versions of curries on request. Your driver knows exactly where to stop for family-friendly meals.
Yes — every visitor needs an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), applied for online before you fly.
