Each route is designed to make the most of one week — short drives, no backtracking, and the right balance of sightseeing and downtime.
Colombo → Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Ella → south coast. The essential Sri Lanka loop — Temple of the Tooth, tea country, the Nine Arches Bridge, and three days on the beach.
Sigiriya → Dambulla → Kandy → Yala → Mirissa. Lion Rock at sunrise, ancient cave temples, wild elephants at Minneriya, a leopard safari, and the beach to finish.
Colombo → Bentota → Galle → Weligama → Mirissa. Minimal driving, maximum sun — Madu River boat ride, Galle Fort wandering, surfing lessons, whale watching, and golden sunsets.
Colombo → Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Ella → Udawalawe → south coast. Deep into the hill country — botanical gardens, tea factory tours, waterfall hikes, the scenic train, and an elephant safari.
Colombo → Anuradhapura → Polonnaruwa → Sigiriya → Kandy → Colombo. The Cultural Triangle deep dive — ancient ruins, sacred temples, Lion Rock, and medieval kingdoms most tourists skip.
Sri Lanka is compact enough to see the highlights in a week, but varied enough that every day feels completely different — mountains, temples, wildlife, and beaches.
Nothing in Sri Lanka is more than a few hours apart. A 7-day trip covers four or five regions without a single rushed day or early alarm.
A one-week trip is enough to get the full experience — you won't leave feeling like you missed the good parts. Most travellers say 7 days felt just right.
With a private driver, you cover more in 7 days than most people see in two weeks of self-guided travel. No wasted time on buses, taxis, or wrong turns.
A full week with private driver, good hotels, all transfers, and experiences — from $599 per person. That's less than a week in a Bali resort with none of the variety.
Every 7-day route is a starting point. Want to swap a temple day for more beach time? Add a cooking class? Skip Sigiriya? Your itinerary adjusts to you.
What you get in one week in Sri Lanka compared to the same week elsewhere.
Every hotel was a great pick, our driver was knowledgeable, and the itinerary had the perfect balance of sightseeing and downtime. So much easier than planning it myself.
We expected beaches but got so much more — ancient temples, a leopard safari, the incredible Ella train, amazing food, and still three days on the coast.
Galle Fort at sunset, whale watching in Mirissa, and long beach mornings — exactly the mix of culture and relaxation I wanted from my week.
Private driver, good hotels, wildlife safaris, and beach time — all for less than a week in a Bali resort. Everything was organised perfectly.
Our 7-day packages start from $599 per person, including hotels, a private driver, daily breakfast, experiences, and all transfers. Premium and luxury tiers go up to $1,399 per person for five-star hotels.
Yes — 7 days is the most popular trip length for first-time visitors. Sri Lanka is compact enough that a week covers 4–5 different regions without rushing.
Every 7-day package includes 6 nights in hotels, a private English-speaking driver for the full week, airport pickup and drop-off, daily breakfast, and all sightseeing. International flights are not included.
Absolutely. Want the first half of the Classic Route and the second half of the Beach route? We mix and match all the time. Tell us what you want to see and we'll build a custom 7-day plan.
The Classic Route is our most popular for a reason — it covers the essential highlights (Kandy, tea country, Ella, south coast beaches) in a logical loop with no backtracking.
December to March is peak season with dry weather on the south and west coasts. June to September is best for the east coast. There's always a sunny coast somewhere on the island.
We recommend 4–6 weeks for peak season (December–March). For shoulder seasons, 2–3 weeks is usually enough. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible.
Yes — every visitor needs an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), applied for online before you fly. Since 25 May 2026 the 30-day tourist ETA is free for citizens of 40 countries, including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, India and Japan; other nationalities pay a fee, so check the official ETA site for yours. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.

Send us your arrival date, group size, and which route caught your eye. We'll reply with a detailed Day 1–7 plan, hotel picks, and an all-inclusive price — on WhatsApp.
